Part 3
ON JUNE 23, 2022 THE HUB ETCHISON YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE MADE AN IN-KIND DONATION OF ALL OF OUR FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES TO RICHMOND COMMUNITY SCHOOLS (RCS). RCS HAS TAKEN OVER PROVIDING A TACKLE FOOTBALL PROGRAM FOR GRADES 5 AND 6 THROUGH THE SCHOOL SYSTEM. IN THE PAST, OUR PROGRAM PROVIDED A FOOTBALL EXPERIENCE FOR 60 YOUTH IN GRADES 5 THROUGH 6 IN 2021. WE PARTNERED WITH THE RICHMOND YMCA IN 2021 TO RUN THE PROGRAM AND HUB LEAGUE PROVIDED EQUIPMENT AND GUIDANCE. EQUIPMENT, UNIFORMS, AND INSURANCE ARE THE LEAGUE'S BIGGEST AND MOST IMPORTANT EXPENSES. THE LEAGUE CHARGES A FEE FOR PLAYERS TO PARTICIPATE. THE FEE PAYS FOR THE USE OF THE EQUIPMENT FOR THE SEASON AND TO COVER INSURANCE EXPENSES. SPONSORS, FUNDRAISERS, GRANTS, AND DONATIONS COVER THE MAJORITY OF THE REMAINING EXPENSES FOR THE LEAGUE. THE FUNDS GENERATED AND RECEIVED ARE FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF OPERATING THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE AND ANY BALANCE FROM REVENUE AND EXPENSES REMAINS IN THE LEAGUE'S CHECKING ACCOUNT.
