ADVOCATES FOR LATINO ARTS AND CULTURE CONSORTIUM (ALAC) ILLUMINATES, CELEBRATES, AND PROMOTES LATINOS IN ARIZONA THROUGH EDUCATION, ADVOCACY, AND COLLABORATION.

ALAC TELLS THE STORY OF THE ARIZONA LATINO PRESENCE THROUGH ARTS FACILITATION, PRESENTATION AND COLLABORATION IN ALL GENRES OF LATINO ARTISTIC AND CULTURAL EXPRESSION INCLUDING EXHIBITS, EDUCATIONAL LECTURES, PERFORMANCES, LITERARY READINGS, AND FILM PRESENTATIONS. ALAC COLLABORATES WITH MAINSTREAM ARTS ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE PURPOSES OF CULTURAL EDUCATION AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIVERSE AUDIENCES FOR THE ARTS IN THE PHOENIX METROPOLITAN AREA. WITH THE ORGANIZATIONS EVOLUTION THIS AREA WILL BE EXPANDED TO INCLUDE ALL OF ARIZONA. ALAC MAINTAINS AND PROVIDES LOW-COST USE OF ITS 6,500 SQUARE FOOT CULTURAL CENTER FACILITY FOR PRESENTATIONS BY CONSORTIUM MEMBERS. LOW COST CONSORTIUM MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO ALL LATINO ARTISTS AND ARTS ORGANIZATIONS IN THE STATE OF ARIZONA. THE FACILITY IS AVAILABLE FOR RENTAL TO ALL NON-PROFIT ARTS AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS AND FOR-PROFIT SUPPORTERS OF THE ARTS.
