THE BBAWC OPERATES THE BROOKLYN CAT CAFE, A HIP AND INVITING DESTINATION WHERE CAT LOVERS CAN INTERACT WITH ADOPTABLE ANIMALS WHILE LEARNING ABOUT PET RESCUE AND PET CARE. IT IS A CENTRAL FACILITY WHERE RESCUERS, FOSTERS FAMILIES AND POTENTIAL ADOPTEES CAN MEET RESCUED CATS IN A CAGE-FREE, NON-SHELTER ENVIRONMENT. THE BROOKLYN CAT CAFE IS A VOLUNTEER-RUN ORGANIZATION, MANAGED BY THE BBAWC WHO OVERSEES THE BUSINESS AFFAIRS, CAT CARE REGIMEN AND DAILY CAFE OPERATIONS. IT IS ALSO A RESOURCE CENTER FOR ANIMAL RESCUERS, PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND HOLDING SPACE FOR NEWLY-RESCUED CATS.
