RIGHT STUFF MINISTRIES IS A NON-PROFIT MINISTRY DEDICATED TO SERVING THE POOR AND FATHERLESS IN THE LEEDS, AL COMMUNITY. IN 2016, THE BENEVOLENT EFFORTS OF THE MINISTRY PROVIDED CLOTHING, MEDICAL EXPENSES, MEALS AND/OR CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR TEN AT-RISK, SINGLE PARENT FAMILIES. RIGHT STUFF MINISTRIES ALSO OFFERED DISCIPLESHIP AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING TO YOUTH AND MINISTRY LEADERS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. WEEKLY DISCIPLESHIP SMALL GROUPS WERE HOSTED AND/OR LED BY BOBBY NIX, THE MINISTRY DIRECTOR. IN ADDITION, MR. NIX SERVED AS A GUEST SPEAKER AT A SHOCCO SPRINGS LEADERSHIP RETREAT. DURING THE PAST YEAR, RIGHT STUFF MINISTRIES ALSO PARTNERED WITH OTHER LOCAL MINISTRIES DISCIPLING YOUTH AND YOUNG MEN IN OUR COMMUNITY. THE MINISTRY SUPPORTED THE WORK OF ALABAMA PREP ACADEMY BY ASSISTING IN THE MENTORSHIP OF THE YOUNG MALE ATHLETES IN THEIR COLLEGE PROGRAM. WHEN CHURCH OF THE HIGHLANDS HELD THEIR ANNUAL MEN'S CONFERENCE, RIGHT STUFF MINISTRIES SPONSORED SEVERAL YOUNG MEN AND MINISTRIES LEADERS IN THE COMMUNITY TO ATTEND. IN ADDITION, THE MINISTRY HOSTED THE LEEDS CITY GROUP, THE LEEDS YOUTH SMALL GROUP OF CHURCH OF THE HIGHLANDS, AT OUR MINISTRY CENTER ON SUNDAY EVENINGS. THROUGH BENEVOLENCE, DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING, MENTORSHIP, AND PARTNERING, RIGHT STUFF MINISTRIES CONTINUES TO SERVE THE NEEDS OF THE POOR AND FATHERLESS IN THE LEEDS COMMUNITY.
