BASED IN NEW YORK, BRIGHTER GREEN WORKS IN THE U.S. AND INTERNATIONALLY WITH A FOCUS ON THE COUNTRIES OF THE GLOBAL SOUTH AND A STRONG COMMITMENT TO ENSURING AND EXPANDING EQUITY AND RIGHTS.

ASIA PROGRAM ACTIVITIES ENCOMPASS POLICY ANALYSIS, KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE, CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT, PUBLIC EDUCATION, AND CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION ON SUSTAINABLE FOOD AND AGRICULTURE SYSTEMS. IN 2021,THE PROGRAM CO-HOSTED A SUMMIT ONLINE, PRODUCED SEVERAL PUBLICATIONS IN ENGLISH AND CHINESE, SUPPORTED CAPACITY OF ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS, AND CO-ORGANIZED DIALOGUES ON THE UN FOOD SYSTEMS SUMMIT, CLIMATE CHANGE, PUBLIC HEALTH, ANIMAL WELFARE, AND LIVELIHOODS. ASIA PROGRAM ACTIIVITIES REACHED HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS IN THE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION, INCLUDING THROUGH LIVE STREAMING, WEBSITES, AND SOCIAL MEDIA. CONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS, PUBLICATIONS AND POSTS, MEDIA/SOCIAL MEDIA, AND PARTNERSHIPS REACH AND SERVE TENS OF THOUSANDS IN THE U.S. AND GLOBALLY.
THE GLOBAL CLIMATE ADVOCACY PROGRAM FOCUSED IN 2021 ON FOOD SYSTEMS, CLIMATE-COMPATIBLE AGRICULTURAL POLICIES, AND ATTENDANCE AT THE UN CLIMATE CHANGE SUMMIT/COP26. WE ALSO DID RESEARCH, WRITING, AND PRESENTATIONS TO ILLUMINATE ISSUES OF CLIMATE, RACIAL AND GENDER JUSTICE AND ANIMAL PROTECTION. THIS WORK REACHES THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE DIRECTLY (ON- AND OFFLINE), AND TENS OF THOUSANDS MORE THROUGH ONGOING DIALOGUE AND DISSEMINATION OF RESEARCH AND POLICY ANALYSIS.
THE EQUITABLE FOOD SYSTEMS PROGRAM PRODUCED WEBINARS, PUBLICATIONS, COLLABORATIVE ADVOCACY, AND UNDERTOOK MEDIA OUTREACH ON FOOD, CLIMATE, ANIMAL WELFARE, PUBLIC HEALTH, AND SOCIAL JUSTICE WITH A FOCUS ON AFRICA AND THE UN FOOD SYSTEMS SUMMIT.
