THE MISSION OF THE HOUSE OF HOPE HAITI IS TO SPREAD THE LOVE OF JESUS BY PROVIDING FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER, EDUCATION, AND JOB SKILL TRAINING TO THE PEOPLE OF HAITI.

WE HAVE TRANSITIONED ALL THE KIDS WHO LIVED IN THE ORPHANAGES TO LIVE WITH RELATIVES. WE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THESE FAMILIES WITH FOOD AID, MEDICAL CARE, BOOKS AND UNIFORMS, AND SCHOOL TUITION. SEVERAL OF THEM ATTEND OUR SCHOOL, AND OTHERS ATTEND LOCAL SCHOOLS AND FOLLOW ON SCHOOLS. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE THEM WITH THE SKILLS AND MEANS TO BECOME PRODUCTIVE & CONTRIBUTING CITIZENS.


WE OPERATE A K-13 SCHOOL WHICH IS ATTENDED BY OVER 700 CHILDREN FROM THE COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDING VILLAGES. THIS IS THE ONLY SECONDARY SCHOOL IN THE REGION.


WE CONTINUE OUR OUTREACH TO MOUNTAIN VILLAGES AND THE COMMUNITIES NEAR OUR SCHOOL AND ORPHANAGES. THIS YEAR, WE PROVIDED BOOKS, UNIFORMS, AND FREE SCHOOLING FOR ALMOST 200 KIDS IN THE COMMUNITY. WE ALSO CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN THREE WELLS THAT ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE PUBLIC. WE SUPPORT TWO MOUNTAIN VILLAGE SCHOOLS BY PROVIDING SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND TEACHERS.
