THE TYGER RIVER FOUNDATION HAS MADE CONTINUOUS AND STEADY PROGRESS IN FULFILLING OUR MISSION. WE HAVE ESTABLISHED FOUR SITES ON THE TYGER RIVER ALLOWING FOR NO-CHARGE PUBLIC, LEGAL ACCESS TO THE RIVER FOR PADDLING, FISHING, AND SWIMMING. WE HAVE ACQUIRED THE HISTORIC 1700'S ANDERSON MILL GRISTMILL AND BEGUN AN EXTENSIVE RESTORATION EFFORT TO INCLUDE AN OPERATIONAL MILL AND PARK AREA. WE HAVE ACQUIRED SIGNIFICANT PARCELS OF LAND WITH HISTORICAL OR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPORTANCE TO PROTECT IT FROM DEVELOPMENT AND PROVIDE CONTROLLED ACCESS FOR THE PUBLIC.
