INITIATED AND MAINTAINED LICENSE AGREEMENTS FOR THE ORDERLY DISTRIBUTION OF WHEAT VARIETIES THAT PROVIDE ACCESS TO ADVANCEMENTS AND NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR FARMERS. 81 LICENSES ARE MAINTAINED THAT MARKET WHEAT SEED TO OUR MEMBERS.
THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FUNDING FOR WHEAT RESEARCH SUPPORT THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF KANSAS. THIS BENEFITS THE GENERAL PUBLIC THROUGH THE RELEASE OF IMPROVED WHEAT VARIETIES THAT INSURE A MORE STABLE GRAIN SUPPLY AS WELL AS BENEFITS THE FARMERS IN THE GREAT PLAINS REGION TO PROVIDE BETTER, ADAPTED, HIGHER YIELDING WHEAT VARIETIES.
