THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED NETWORKING EVENTS AND CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION SEMINARS FOR ITS MEMBERS. THE ORGANIZATION AWARDED 11 SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS ATTENDING THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH OR BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOLS. THE ORGANIZATIONS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM SUPPORTS STUDENTS FINANCIALLY BY HELPING THEM PAY ALL OR A PORTION OF ONE SEMESTER. THIS PROGRAM IS FUNDED PRIMARILY THROUGH THE ORGANIZATIONS ANNUAL BANQUET. THE ORGANIZATION HELD A FUNDRAISING EVENT FOR PROJECT SUCCESS COALITION, WHICH PROVIDES YEAR-ROUND EDUCATION OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO YOUTH AND FAMILIES. THEY OFFER STUDENTS OF ALL BACKGROUNDS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN NEW SKILLS AS WELL AS ENHANCE THEIR BASIC SKILLS IN MATH,READING, WRITING, COMPUTER LITERACY AND SCIENCE. PROJECT SUCCESS USED THE FUNDS RAISED FROM THE FUNDRAISING EVENT TO FUND THE 8-WEEK S.O.S. SUMMER OF STEM PROGRAM. THE PURPOSE OF THIS S.O.S. SUMMER OF STEM (SOS) PROJECT IS TO CREATE A SUMMER PROGRAM FOR DIVERSE STUDENTS CENTERED ON THE TOPICS OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND MATH (STEM). FUNDS WERE USED FOR LOCAL STAFFING AND PURCHASING STEM EDUCATION RESOURCES.
