AFRICAN MOTHERS HEALTH INITIATIVE MISSION IS TO ASSIST IN THE IMPROVEMENT AND THE QUALITY OF HEALTH OF MOTHERS AND CHILDREN IN MALAWI, AFRICA, THROUGH EDUCATION AS WELL AS FUNDING THEIR SISTER NON-PROFIT IN MALAWI.

BABY CARE PROGRAM THE BABY CARE PROGRAM IDENTIFIES THE MOST VULNERABLE INFANTS ORPHANS, MULTIPLE BIRTHS, PRE-MATURELY BORN INFANTS IMMEDIATELY AFTER BIRTH AND PROVIDES SUPPORTIVE HOME-BASED CASE FOR ORPHANED NEWBORNS. CHIMWEMWE MUBEREKI CM IS THE AFRICAN ORGANIZATION THAT THE AFRICAN MOTHERS HEALTH INITIATIVE AMHI SUPPORTS, AND CM PROVIDES INFANT FOOD SUPPLIES, EDUCATION AND TRAINING ON SAFE FOOD PREPARATION. CM VISITS THE INFANTS REGULARLY TO MONITOR HEALTH AND GROWTH AS WELL AS PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR OTHER CHIDLREN IN THE HOUSEHOLD.


MOTHER CARE PROGRAM THE MOTHER CARE PROGRAM SUPPORTS WOMEN DURING THE PERIOD IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING BIRTH. SUPPORT INCLUDES PROVIDING BASIC NECESSITIES.
