THE FOUNDATION FUNDS PROJECTS THAT WILL ENRICH THE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT AT CARLMONT HIGH SCHOOL, LOCATED IN BELMONT, CALIFORNIA THROUGH THE FUNDING FOR ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT WILL HAVE BROAD BASED, SUBSTANTIAL AND LASTING IMPACT. FOR THE 2021 - 2022 PERIOD, FUNDING WAS PROVIDED TO THE SEQUOIA UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR ADDITIONAL CLASS SECTIONS, AFTERSCHOOL TUTORING, CHOIR SUPPORT, COLLEGE & CAREER COUNSELING, CROSS DEPARTMENTAL COLLABORATION, AND INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPLIES. CARLMONT ACADEMIC FOUNDATION HAS PROVIDED FUNDS TO SUPPORT ITS TEACHERS AND A VARIETY OF STUDENT PROGRAMS, INCLUDING AVID, CHOIR, PTSA GRANTS AND SOJOURN TO THE PAST.


THE CARLMONT ACADEMIC FOUNDATION RECOGNIZES THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF ITS STUDENTS AND PROVIDES A SMALL NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS EACH YEAR. IN THE REPORTING PERIOD, THE FOUNDATION AWARDED THREE TOTAL SCHOLARSHIPS - TWO FOR $1,000 EACH AND ONE FOR $750.


CARLMONT ACADEMIC FOUNDATION PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, WHICH INCLUDES THE THEATER OPERATIONS. IN THE 2021 - 2022 REPORTING PERIOD, THE FOUNDATION'S EXPENSE CONTRIBUTION WAS A RELATIVELY SMALL PORTION.
