ASSIST AT-RISK JOB SEEKERS, EX-OFFENDERS, THE UNEMPLOYED AND THE HOMELESS ESTABLISH STABILITY THROUGH CAREER AND JOB TRAINING, SKILLS ENHANCEMENT AND BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION, RESUME SERVICE, TRANSPORTATION SUPPORT AND HOUSING SERVICES.

HOUSING SERVICES: INCREASE IN HOUSING DEMANDS HAS CAUSED A DIRECT FOCUS TO INCREASE SINGLE FAMILY & MULTI-UNIT ACQUISITIONS TO MEET THE ONGOING DEMAND. SERVICES WERE EXPANDED INTO HOME LOCATION SERVICES TO ASSIST CITIZENS WITH CRIMINAL, EVICTIONS, AND EMPLOYMENT CHALLENGES TO ENHANCE THE HOUSING SERVICE SECTOR OF THE ORGANIZATION. TRANSPORTATION SERVICES: VEHICLE ACQUISITIONS DECREASED FROM PRIOR YEARS DUE TO THE CLOSING OF THE AUTO DONATION CENTER AND THE INABILITY TO OBTAIN ANOTHER DISCOUNT CAR VENDOR HAS YET TO SURFACE. PRIOR TO 2022, BUDGET FRIENDLY AUTO PRICING ALLOWED THE ORGANIZATION TO CONTINUE HELPING FAMILIES MEET THE NEED TO ACQUIRE COST FRIENDLY, SAFE AND DEPENDABLE TRANSPORTATION. JOB PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE AND COMMUNITY SERVICES: INCREASED DUE TO THE LACK OF IN-DEMAND SKILLS AND TRANSPORTATION OF JOB SEEKERS. COMMUNITY SERVICE SECTOR HAS INCREASED BY 12% DUE TO CITY JUDICIAL MANDATES THAT CONTINUE TO GIVE RULINGS TO COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS RATHER THAN INCARCERATION.
