INITIATION OF PEER SERVICES AT THE JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER IN JEFFERSON COUNTY, ARKANSAS. PEER SPECIALISTS PROVIDE MORAL SUPPORT, ASSIST IN JOB PLACEMENT, CAREER DEVELOPMENT, AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO PROVIDE FAMILIES WHAT THEY NEED FOR A NEW START. THE ORGANIZATION TRIES TO CONNECT ALUMNI IN DIFFERENT REGIONS OF THE STATE WHEN POSSIBLE. IN ADDITION, VOLUNTEERS CONTINUE TO WALK WITH THEIR STUDENTS AS MENTORS. IT IS CRITICAL TO CONTINUED GROWTH THAT PEOPLE FIND TRUE BELONGING.
