THE SOCIETY PROVIDES GRANTS TO UNIVERSITIES, HIGH SCHOOLS, AND NOTFORPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND ADVANCEMENT IN THE FIELD OF APPLIED SPECTROSCOPY. THE SOCIETY FUNDED NUMEROUS TEACHERS WITH EQUIPMENT GRANTS AND EQUIPMENT, FUNDED PROJECTS AT CARNEGIE SCIENCE CENTER, AND PROVIDED GRANTS TO LOCAL ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOLS TO SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT OF ELEMENTARY SCIENCE OLYMPIAD PROGRAMS.
