LUTHERAN SENIORLIFE FOUNDATION IS A 501(C)(3) CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION THAT PROMOTES THE CHARITABLE INTERESTS OF LUTHERAN SENIOR LIFE, ST. JOHN SPECIALTY CARE CENTER, PASSAVANT RETIREMENT COMMUNITY AND OTHER AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS DESCRIBED BY SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. THE FOUNDATION WAS FOUNDED IN SEPTEMBER 1992. THE FOUNDATION ACTS PRIMARILY TO:1. SOLICIT AND RECEIVE CONTRIBUTIONS FROM ALL SOURCES, WHETHER FOR UNRESTRICTED OR RESTRICTED PURPOSES; 2. PROVIDE OVERSIGHT AND STWEARDSHIP OF CONTRIBUTED FUNDS;3. MANAGE THE POOLING AND DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS FOR INVESTMENT PURPOSES; AND4. PROVIDE FUNDS TO FURTHER THE MISSION OF AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS TO SERVE ELDERS, INTENDING THAT THE RECIPIENTS OF THE SERVICES WILL EXPERIENCE A MORE ABUNDANT LIFE REGARDLESS OF THEIR PHYSICAL CONDITION OR FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES.
