TO THE HOMELESS POPULATION WITH SERVICES REQUIRED TO ASSIST AND EMPOWER THEM TO BECOME INDEPENDENT AND SELF-SUFFICIENT PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS TO OBTAIN PERMANENT HOUSING AND ENSURING THEIR CHILDREN'S RIGHTS TO EDUCATION AND HEALTHCARE.

THE CHILDRENS RESCUE FUND PROVIDES EMERGENCY TRANSITIONAL HOUSING TO HOMELESS FAMILIES AND SINGLE ADULTS IN NYC. CRFS THREE LARGEST SHELTERS ARE HOUSE EAST, LIGHT HOUSE AND KENILWORTH. AT ANY GIVEN TIME, THESE THREE SHELTERS PROVIDE SERVICES TO OVER 400 FAMILIES AND 200 INDIVIDUALS.ON SITE SOCIAL SERVICES INCLUDES INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING, ADVOCACY, EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, AND ASSISTANCE IN SEEKING AND FINDING PERMANENT HOUSING. THE ON-SITE SOCIAL WORKERS WHO PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENTS AND CRISIS INTERVENTION. AS AN ORGANIZATION, CRF PARTNERS WITH LOCAL SERVICE PROVIDES FOR SERVICES NOT PROVIDED BY OUR STAFF.
