COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENTCOMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IS A BROAD TERM USED TO PROMOTE A VARIETY OF CHANGE ELEMENTS INTO A NEIGHBORHOOD. FROM OPEN SPACE AND RECREATION TO PUBLIC SAFETY, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ENSURES COMMUNITY GROWTH AND QUALITY OF LIFE. A MW/DH SIGNATURE IS ITS OPEN SPACES, EMBODIED BY A REMARKABLE VIEW OF THE CITY; THE COMMUNITY HAS AN UNSURPASSED URBAN GREEN SPACE WHICH INCLUDES EMERALD VIEW PARK. MWCDC WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PITTSBURGH PARKS CONSERVANCY TO MAINTAIN A COMMUNITY VOICE IN THE STEWARDSHIP OF EMERALD VIEW PARK AND COMMUNITY GREEN SPACES.


HOUSING DEVELOPMENTRESIDENTIAL AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS ENCOURAGE LONG-TERM DEVELOPMENT BENEFITS TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND IMPROVE THE COMMUNITYS HOUSING STOCK.
