THE BROCKERHOFF HOUS IS A HUD SUBSIDIZED ELDERLY PROPERTY. RESIDENTS ARE SELECTED THROUGH A WAITING LIST AND MUST MEET THE CRITERIA OF THE TENANT SELECTION PLAN AS REQUIRED BY HUD. THE HISTORIC BROCKERHOFF HOUSE IS A 33 APARTMENT, INDEPENDENT LIVING FACILITY LOCATED ON THE DIAMOND IN DOWNTOWN BELLEFONTE. WE OFFER 28 ONE-BEDROOM APARTMENTS AND 5 STUDIO APARTMENTS. OUR RESIDENTS ENJOY ACCESS TO AN ONSITE LAUNDRY FACILITY, LIBRARY, COMMUNITY ROOM WITH KITCHEN AND BALCONY, COVERED PORCH, FIRST FLOOR LOBBY, ON-SITE MAIL DELIVERY AND PICK UP, ELEVATOR AND LOCKED ENTRY DOORS WITH KEY FOB AND CODE ACCESS. PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE ARE ONSITE WITH AN AFTER-HOUR-ON-CALL MAINTENANCE SERVICE. ELECTRIC, HEAT, WATER, SEWER AND REFUSE ARE INCLUDED. RENT IS 30% OF ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME AND VARIES BY HOUSEHOLD. THE BROCKERHOFF HOUSE OFFERS EASY WALKING ACCESS TO MANY RESTAURANTS, SHOPS, BANKS, PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, AND CATA BUS STOPS.
