BLUE VALLEY FARM SHOW: PROMOTES AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION BY SPONSORING AND CONDUCTING A LOCAL FAIR FEATURING EXHIBITS OF, AND CONTESTS BETWEEN, VARIOUS AGRICULTURALLY RELATED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES SUCH AS STOCK RAISING, GRAIN, POULTRY, HANDIWORK, DAIRY PRODUCTS, VEGETABLES, FLOWERS, ETC. WITH AWARDS AND PRIZES.
LIVESTOCK SHOW & SALE: PROMOTES AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION BY SPONSORING AND CONDUCTING A LIVESTOCK SHOW AND SALE FOR ANIMALS RAISED BY 4-H PARTICIPANTS. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES YOUNG ADULTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE OF CARING FOR AND RAISING ANIMALS WHICH ARE THEN JUDGED AND SOLD GIVING THEM A REAL-LIFE EXPERIENCE OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY.
FACILITIES: PROVIDES A PERMANENT PHYSICAL SITE FOR THE FARM SHOW AS WELL AS FACILITIES FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND OTHER LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS WHICH PROMOTE AGRICULTURAL AWARENESS, RECREATION AND THE SOCIAL WELARE OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND WHICH FACILITIES WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE AVAILABLE TO THE GROUPS BENEFITED.
GRANTS/SCHOLARSHIPS: PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS TO YOUNG ADULTS INVOLVED IN AGRICULTURAL 4-H PROGRAMS WHICH PROMOTES AGRICULTURE AMONG FUTURE GENERATIONS AND PROVIDES MONETARY ASSISTANCE TO OTHER LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WHICH SERVE LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND TO INDIVIDUALS IN FINANCIAL NEED THUS BENEFITING THE LOCAL POPULACE.
