THE AMC CONCERTS IN THE 2021-2022 SEAON INCLUDED THE JULY 4TH CONCERT AND A 9-11 COMMEMORATIVE CONCERT, CHRISTMANS CONCERT AND SPRING CONCERT. THE 9-11 CONCERT WAS FREE. FIRST RESPONDERS AND VETERANS WERE HONORED. THE CONCERT FEATURED DAN FORREST REQUIEM FOR THE LIVING WITH A FULL ORCHESTRA AND CONDUCTED BY ALAN HIGHTOWER. THE 9-11 CONCERT ALSO HIGHLIGHTED THE PREMIERE OF ELAINE HAGENBERG'S SPECTACULAR WORK "ILLUMINARE". THE PERFORMANCE INCLUDED VIDEOS INCORPORATING MAJESTIC VISUALIZATIONS OF EACH MOVEMENT. THIS PERFORMANCE BY AMC WAS CHOSEN TO BE PLAYED DURING THE OPENING CEREMONIES OF THE TEXAS CHORAL DIRECTOR'S ASSOCIATION 2022 CONVENTION
AMC CONTINUED THE ANNUAL PRESENTATION OF 2 SCHOLARSHIPS TO UTA MUSIC STUDENTS. AMC ALSO MADE A MEMORIAL CONTRIBITON TO A LOCAL CHARITY.
THE AMC CHAMBER SINGERS PRESENTED ELEGANTLY ECLECTIC FOR THEIR CONCERT IN MAY.
