THE CHORUS IS COMPRISED OF 225 CHILDREN IN GRADES 2 THROUGH 8 FROM HOUSTON AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. THROUGH WEEKLY REHEARSALS AND THE PERFORMANCE OF ALL TYPES OF MUSIC, CHILDREN NOT ONLY ACHIEVE HIGH ARTISTIC PERFORMANCE STANDARDS, BUT ALSO LEARN LIFE SKILLS SUCH AS CONFIDENCE, TEAMWORK, RESPONSIBILITY, ACCEPTANCE, AND MUTUAL RESPECT.
