UNITED WAY OF DAVIE COUNTY AND ITS PARTNER AGENCIES HELPED A TOTAL OF 5,899 PEOPLE IN DAVIE COUNTY IN 2020; THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED BY THE UNITED WAY OF DAVIE COUNTY OPERATING 3 DIRECT PROGRAMS THAT BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY AND FUNDING 12 ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS FACILITATED BY PARTNER AGENCIES THAT ADVANCE THE COMMON GOOD IN THE AREAS OF EDUCATION, FINANCIAL STABILITY AND HEALTH AND WELLNESS. IN THE AREA OF EDUCATION, CHILDREN HAVE A PROVIDED ACCESS TO TUTORS,HAVE DEVLEOPED ENHANCED CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS, HAVE TAKEN STEPS TOWARD ACHIEVING THEIR POTENTIAL BECAUSE THEY WERE MENTORED BY A CARING INDIVIDUAL.
