GENERAL MEMBER SERVICES-GENERAL MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO NEWS BRIEFS AND ALERTS, A RESOURCE FOR PROBLEM SOLVING AND INFORMATION ON PROFESSIONAL AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO MEMBERS, REPRESENTATION ON VARIOIUS REGULATORY AND LEGISLATIVE ISSUES THAT IMPACT MEMBERS, SERVICE ON VARIOUS KHCA COMMITTEES, A DETAILED LISTING IN THE DIRECTORY OF HOME HEALTH, HOSPICES, & IN-HOME CARE SERVICES IN KENTUCKY, A LISTING ON THE KHCA WEBSITE, AND SUBSCRIPTIOIN TO THE KHCA LISTSERVE.
CONTINUING EDUCATION-THIS INCLUDES CLINICAL, ADMINSTRATIVE AND AIDE TRAINING WORKSHOPS DELIVERED AS EITHER FACE TO FACE SESSIONS OS AS TELECONFRERENCES. KHCA PROVIDED MANY DIFFERENT EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS DURING 2020. MANY OF THE SESSIONS ARE PROVIDED DURING OUR SPRING AND FALL CONFERENCES. PARTICIPATION IN THE SESSIONS IS TYPICALLY MADE UP OF RN'S, LPN'S, AND OTHER HOME CARE PERSONNEL. DIFFERENT AGENCIES PARTICIPATE IN THE AIDE TRAINING TELECONFERENCE.
