THE PURPOSE OF THE MISSOURI ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS IS TO : (A) ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT AND FURTHERANCE OF AN ADEQUATE SYSTEM OF ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION; (B) PROMOTE THE CONTINUOUS UPGRADING OF CURRICULUM, TEACHING, AND LEARNING EXPERIENCES; (C) ADVANCE PROFESSIONALISM IN SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION; (D) RECOGNIZE INDIVIDUALS FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE TO EDUCATION; (E) IMPROVE CONDITIONS OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICE FOR SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS, TEACHERS, AND NON-TEACHING PERSONNEL; (F) ADVOCATE FOR THE ENACTMENT OF SOUND EDUCATIONAL LEGISLATION AND THE SOLUTION OF EDUCATIONAL PROBLEMS THROUGH LEADERSHIP AND COOPERATION WITH INTERESTED PARTIES; AND (G) ENGAGE IN SUCH OTHER ACTIVITIES CONSISTENT WITH THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION.
