WOMEN, INFANT, AND CHILDREN'S PROGRAM (WIC) IS FUNDED BY DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND ADMINISTERED IN ILLINOIS BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH. WIC HELPS PARENTS TO FEED THEIR CHILDREN PROPERLY DURING CRITICAL PERIODS OF GROWTH AND DEVELOPEMENT. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES NUTRITION EDUCATION, NUTRITION COUNSELING, BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT, NUTRITIOUS FOODS, AND REFERRALS TO OTHER SERVICES.
DENTAL SERVICES - THIS PROGRAM OFFERS A WIDE VARIETY OF COMPREHENSIVE DENTAL SERVICES TO ALL CHILDREN FROM BIRTH TO AGE SEVENTEEN. SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE TEETH CLEANING, X-RAYS FLUORIDE TREATMENTS, SEALANTS, FILLINGS, CROWNS, ROOT CANAL THERAPY, AND EXTRACTIONS.
