UNITYPOINT HEALTH AT WORK ("UPAW"), A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION, IS A SINGLE OPERATING UNIT FOR ALL ONSITE AND HOSPITAL BASED OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH CLINICS. THIS NEW ENTITY WILL SERVE TO BUILD STANDARDIZATION AND CONNECTION OF ALL OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE LINES ACROSS UNITYPOINT HEALTH AFFILIATES WHICH WILL CREATE BRAND AWARENESS AS WELL AS CONTINUITY OF CARE. UPAW WILL HOUSE ALL ACTIVITY THAT PRIOR TO NOW OCCURRED IN VARIOUS PARTS OF THE UNITYPOINT SYSTEM; INCLUDING THE ACTIVITIES THAT WERE AT UNITYPOINT HEALTH AT WORK, LLC AS WELL AS THE HOSPITAL BASED ACTIVITIES. THIS WILL ALLOW FOR MORE EFFECTIVELY PROVIDING PATIENT SERVICE AND MORE EFFICIENT OVERSIGHT. IN ADDITION, UPAW PLANS TO EXTEND PRIMARY CARE SERVICES ONSITE FOR EMPLOYEES TO IMPROVE ACCESS AND PROVIDE A CONVENIENT MEANS OF CARE.
