THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND NURTURING HIGH QUALITY CHINESE-ENGLISH MULTICULTURAL ENVIRONMENT THAT PROMOTES CHILDREN'S DEVELOPMENT WHILE BUILDING A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY FOR FAMILIES. THE ORGANIZATION RUNS A PRESCHOOL, SUMMER CAMP, AND A WEEKEND CHINESE LANGUAGE EDUCATION PROGRAM.

HELD ON WEEKENDS PRESCHOOL TO 8TH GRADE CHILDREN AND YOUTH, PARTICIPANTS ARE EXPOSED TO AND LEARN MANDARIN AND OR CANTONESE IN A YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT THAT INTRODUCES AND CELEBRATES CHINESE HERITAGE. THE WAH MEI SUMMER CAMP: THIS PROGRAM FOR SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN AND YOUTH USES YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES TO PROVIDE A BILINGUAL CHINESE-ENGLISH SUMMER DAY CAMP EXPERIENCE THAT INCLUDE ARTS & CRAFTS, OUTDOOR RECREATION, SPORTS, LITERACY, AND LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT.
