MINNESOTA GOLF CHARITY EVENTS RAISES CHARITABLE FUNDS THROUGH TWO GOLF EVENTS AND LAWFUL CHARITABLE GAMBLING. THE MONEY DONATED TO ORGANIZATIONS IS PROVIDED FOR OPERATING EXPENSES. FOR MANY NON-PROFIT AGENCIES, THE BULK OF THEIR CHARITABLE SUPPORT IS TIED TO SPECIFIC GRANT-FUNDED PROGRAMS. THIS CAN MAKE IT PARTICULARLY DIFFICULAT FOR NON-PROFITS TO HANDLE THE DAY-TO-DAY WORK THEY NEED TO CARRY OUT SUPPORT OF THEIR PROGRAMS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES. THE MN GOLF CHARITY FUNDING IS DESIGNED TO HELP THEM BRIDGE THIS GAP.
MINNESOTA GOLF CHARITY EVENTS PROVIDES COMMUNITY-WIDE VISIBILITY TO THE AGENCIES WE SUPPORT AND THE PEOPLE THEY SERVE. DUE TO THE LONGSTANDING TRADITION AND HISOTRY OF OUR GOLF TOURNAMENTS, WE RECEIVE SIGNIFICANT LOCAL MEDIA COVERRAGE FOR OUR EVENTS. THIS ALLOWS US TO FOCUS THE PSOTLIGHT ON THE PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT WE SUPPORT. THE COMMUNICTY THEN RECEIVES MORE EDUCATION ABOUT THE VARIOUS DISABILITIES THAT EXIST AND THE NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE WITH THESE DISABILITIES.
