THE HUNTINGTON CHORAL SOCIETY IS A COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION WHICH HAS OFFERED AUDIENCES AND SINGERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE THE GREAT WORKS OF THE CHORAL REPERTORY, AND COMMISSION WORKS BY LOCAL COMPOSERS. THE GROUP HAS BEEN CONTINUOUSLY ACTIVE FOR 61 YEARS. THE GROUP MET WEEKLY AND PERFORMED CONCERTS IN SPRING AND WINTER 2022. IN ADDITION, THE GROUP OFFERED AN OPEN COMMUNITY MESSIAH SING, AND FOR THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS, PERFORMED AT COMMUNITY EVENTS AS WELL AS HOSPITALS AND NURSING HOMES.THE CONCERTS PERFORMED LAST SEASON WERE:SPRING 2022: VIVA LA MUSICA: A CELEBRATION OF GREAT CHORAL WORKS THROUGHOUT THE CENTURIESFALL 2022: CARL ORFF: CARMINA BURANAJOHN RUTTER: GLORIA
