THE SAN JOSE COMMUNITY YOUTH SERVICES PROGRAMS PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR 338 YOUTHS FROM THE AGES 5 TO 17 TO PARTICIPATE IN ORGANIZED SPORTS ACTIVITIES. THE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF AMATEUR SPORTS FOR YOUTH IN BOTH SKILL AND SPORTSMANSHIP. PROGRAM SERVICE EXPENSE INCLUDE FACILITY RENTAL, REFEREE FEES, UNIFORMS, EQUIPMENT, INSTRUCTOR FEES AND OTHER COSTS RELATED TO THE SPORTS ACTIVITIES. THE 243 MEMBER(FAMILIES) OF THE ORGANIZATION VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME AND ENERGY FOR ALL MANPOWER ACTIVITIES INCLUDING THE OFFICERS OF THE ORGANIZATION.
