THE COUNCIL SUPPORTS NUMEROUS YOUTH ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES, INCLUDING SPECIAL COMPETITIONS FOR SEASONAL YOUTH SPORTS LEAGUES, YOUTH DANCES, YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS, SUNDAY BREAKFASTS, YOUTH MARCHES, ETC.
COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES. THE COUNCIL PROVIDES TREMENDOUS SUPPORT TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY THRU THE AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIPS; DONATIONS TO LOCAL SEMANARIANS; FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE RIGHT TO LIFE MARCH; FOOD BASKETS DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASONS TO FAMILIES IN NEED; AND SPECIAL EVENTS TO DEMONSTRATE APPRECIATION TO TEACHERS, FACULTY AND THE NUNS.
THE COUNCIL PROVIDES FUNDING FOR A DIVERSE SCHEDULE OF SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE MEMBERSHIP, INCLUDING WEEKLY AND MONTHLY MEETINGS OF RETIRED MEMBERS, DANCES, HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS, DAY TRIPS, AUCTIONS AND FUND RAISERS, BOWLING LEAGUES, SPECIAL MEMORIAL SERVICES FOR WIDOWED MEMBERS, WAKES, ROSARY SERVICES, AND OUT REACH ACTIVITIES FOR MEMBERS WHO ARE IN POOR HEALTH.
