SCHOLARSHIP - THE PANCRETAN ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA IS PROUD TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR YOUTH MEMBERS OF OUR ORGANIZATION. SINCE ITS INCEPTION, THE VARIOUS SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS HAVE AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO ELIGIBLE HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.
CULTURAL AND EDUCATION - THE PANCRETAN ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA IS DEDICATED TO DEVELOPING, ENCOURAGING AND SUSTAINING PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE HELLENIC CULTURE, THOUGHT, LANGUAGE AND TRADITIONS. THESE GOALS ARE ACHIEVED THROUGH THE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF CDS AND DVDS THAT HIGHLIGHT CRETAN MUSIC AND DANCE, AND THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF YOUTH DANCE GROUPS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. THE CULTURAL AND EDUCATION COMMITTEE HAS ALSO ARRANGED SPECIAL CONCERTS AND PLAYS THAT HAVE TOURED THE COUNTRY.
PHILANTHROPIC - THE PANCRETAN ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA PHILANTHROPIC FUND WAS CREATED TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO A VARIETY OF ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDING HOSPITALS, ORPHANAGES, CHURCHES AND SCHOOLS AND INDIVIDUALS WITH CRITICAL NEEDS BOTH HERE IN THE UNITED STATES AND IN CRETE, GREECE.
