FAMILY PLANNING AND RELATED GYNECOLOGICAL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED IN OUR 23-COUNTY SERVICE REGION AT NO COST (OR REDUCED COST) TO THOSE PATIENTS WHO ARE ELIGIBLE.DURING THE OUTBREAK OF COVID-19, ADAGIO HEALTH WAS FACED WITH MANY NEW CHALLENGES, INCLUDING HOW TO DELIVER CRITICALLY IMPORTANT MEDICAL, NUTRITION, AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO PATIENTS, CLIENTS, AND COMMUNITIES. WITH GUIDANCE FROM THE PA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND THE CDC, ADAGIO HEALTH'S MEDICAL AND IT TEAMS WORKED TOGETHER TO FACILITATE A NEAR-IMMEDIATE ROLL-OUT OF TELEHEALTH AND VIDEO VISITS IN EARLY APRIL 2020, ALONG WITH IMPLEMENTING STRICT NEW SAFETY PROTOCOLS AROUND IN-PERSON OFFICE VISITS. THE WIC TEAM TOOK A SIMILAR APPROACH TO CLIENT VISITS AND SERVICES. NEW SOFTWARE, PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT, AND TRAINING WAS PROVIDED TO ADAGIO HEALTH STAFF. THE ORGANIZATION'S POWER UP NUTRITION TEAM, AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH EDUCATION TEAMS WORKED CLOSELY WITH SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO FACILITATE APPROPRIATE VIRTUAL AND VIDEO LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES THAT ENABLED THOSE PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS TO CONTINUE MOVING FORWARD. THOSE EFFORTS HAVE CONTINUED THROUGHOUT THE PANDEMIC, WITH SENIOR MANAGEMENT CONTINUALLY SEEKING GUIDANCE AND ALIGNMENT WITH RECOMMENDATIONS FROM BOTH STATE AND FEDERAL HEALTH EXPERTS AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS.
