TO PROVIDE HUMANITARIAN SERVICE, ENCOURAGE HIGH ETHICAL STANDARDS IN ALL VOCATIONS, AND HELP BUILD GOODWILL AND PEACE IN THE WORLD.

THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITY YOUTH SERVICE PROGRAMS, INCLUDING SERVICE CLUBS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND YOUNG ADULTS, LEADERSHIP TRAINING WORKSHOPS, AND STUDENT EXCHANGES.


THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED VARIOUS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS, INCLUDING THE CHICO FRESHMAN SCHOLARSHIPS WHICH ARE AWARDED TO STUDENTS WHO HAVE GRADUATED FROM CHICO AREA HIGH SCHOOLS AND THE STONE SCHOLARSHIP WHICH IS AWARDED TO STUDENTS ATTENDING CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY, CHICO AND WHO RESIDE IN DISTRICT 5160 OF ROTARY INTERNATIONAL.


DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF ROTARY CENTENNIAL PARK IN CHICO, CA. ROTARIANS CONTIBUTED BOTH FINANCIALLY AND PROVIDED HUNDREDS OF LABOR HOURS TOWARDS THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COMMUNITY PARK WHICH INCLUDES A MULTI-USE TURF FIELD, CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA, MULTIPLE SHADED PICNIC TABLES AND STRUCTURES AND A BASKETBALL COURT.
