THE LEAGUE HOLDS AN ANNUAL NATIONAL MEETING FOR POW/MIA FAMILIES, VETERANS AND OTHER CONCERNED CITIZENS TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR CURRENT BRIEFINGS ON THE STATUS OF US EFFORTS TO ACCOUNT FOR AMERICANS MISSING FROM THE VIETNAM WAR. IN 2019, THE LEAGUE COMMUNICATED REGULARLY AND WORKED CLOSELY WITH US OFFICIALS AND WITH MAJOR NATIONAL VETERAN ORGANIZATIONS IN SUPPORT OF US EFFORTS TO ESTABLISH A MORE TRANSPARENT, EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE AGENCY TO MORE RAPIDLY ACHIEVE ACCOUNTING RESULTS FOR THE AFFECTED FAMILIES.
