OPERATION SCHOOL BELL PROGRAM - PROVIDED NEW SCHOOL CLOTHING OR UNIFORM T-SHIRTS FOR 17,349 STUDENTS FROM 56 SCHOOLS IN HAWAII, AS WELL AS CLOTHING BOXES CONTAINING SHORTS, SHIRTS, UNDERWEAR AND SLIPPERS, TO THOSE SCHOOL.OPERATION SCHOOL BELL LITERACY PROGRAM- BOOKS WERE PURCHASED AND GIVEN TO STUDENTS AT PUUHALE SCHOOL (KAHAUIKI VILLAGE AND THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF WAIANAE.


OPERATION WILDLIFE PROGRAM (OWL)- PRODUCED A 25 MINUTE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO COORDINATING THE IDEALS OF HIPPO (HABITAT LOSS, INVASIVES, POLLUTION, POPULATION AND OVEREXPLOITATION) AS PART OF 4TH GRADE SCIENCE CURRICULUM. 26 SCHOOLS (1,786 STUDENTS AND THEIR TEACHERS) ON OAHU WERE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM THIS SPRING.


WE CARE PROGRAMSERVED 3,846 CHILDREN AND ADULTS ON OAHU IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS: - PROVIDED MALAMA BEARS (COMFORT TEDDY BEARS) TO SEVERAL HOSPITAL PEDIATRIC WARDS, HONOLULU FIRE DEPARTMENT STATIONS, HOSPICE FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS, AND LEGACY OF LIFE GIVING COMFORT TO THOSE IN TRAUMATIC SITUATIONS.- SUPPLIED BABY LAYETTES TO HOSPITALS FOR NEW MOTHERS AT OAHU HOSPITALS.- SUPPLIED BUS PASSES, BACKPACKS, PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS TO A DROP-IN AT RISK TEENAGE SHELTER IN WAIKIKI.- THROUGH HALE KIPA, SUPPLIED SMALL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO YOUTH TRANSITIONING FROM FOSTER CARE TO INDEPENDENT LIVING.- SUPPLIED SHRINERS HOSPITAL WITH MALAMA BEARS AND SMALL ACTIVITY ITEMS FOR PATIENTS. - SUPPLIED BUS PASSES AND DIAPERS TO RESIDENTS OF THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACTION CENTER.
