THE MARY TODD LINCOLN HOUSE CULTIVATES PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE MULTILAYERED PAST BY SHARING THE STORY OF A WOMAN WHOSE EXPERIENCES RESONATE TODAY. THE MUSEIUM SERVED OVER 14,300 ON-SITE VISITORS IN FY2023. IN ADDITION TO DAILY TOURS, SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS INCLUDED MARY LINCOLN'S BIRTHDAY EVENT, A PRESIDENTS' DAY FAMILY EVENT, AND A DOWNTOWN HISTORY WALK. CONTINUED PRESERVATION OF THE PROPERTY IN FY2023 INCLUDED THE RESTORATION OF WINDOWS ON THE WEST AND SOUTH FACADES OF THE HOUSE.

SEALED PROPOSALS WERE DUE IN FALL 2022 AND THE PROPERTY WAS SOLD IN DECEMBER 2022. AN INTERIOR PRESERVATION EASEMENT WAS SIGNED AT CLOSING.
