MILANOF-SCHOCK IS A PUBLIC LIBRARY SERVING THE DONEGAL REGION IN WESTERN LANCASTER COUNTY. WITH A COLLECTION OF NEARLY 50,000 ITEMS, THE LIBRARY PROVIDES POPULAR READING AND LITERACY MATERIALS TO ALL AGES. OTHER RESOURCES INCLUDE MOVIES, AUDIO BOOKS, AND ELECTRONIC RESOURCES. ELECTRONIC MATERIALS ARE OFFERED THROUGH A CONSORTIUM OF LIBRARIES IN LANCASTER COUNTY, IN 2020, DESPITE BEING CLOSED FOR NEARLY 3 MONTHS, THE LIBRARY CIRCULATED 160,190 ITEMS AND HAD 38,341 IN-LIBRARY VISITORS. HUNDREDS OF PROGRAMS WERE DELIVERED TO THE COMMUNITY VIA SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AND IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS THROUGH THE SUMMER AND AUTUMN MONTHS.
