THE SOCIETY PRODUCES A PEER-REVIEWED, SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL, NEUROMODULATION: TECHNOLOGY AT THE NEURAL INTERFACE, WHICH IS INDEXED BY THE NATIONAL LIBRARY OF MEDICINE IN MEDLINE / PUBMED AND IS PUBLISHED EIGHT TIMES A YEAR. NEUROMODULATION IS THE PREEMINENT JOURNAL IN THE AREA OF NEUROMODULATION, PROVIDING OUR READERSHIP WITH THE STATE OF THE ART CLINICAL, TRANSLATIONAL AND BASIC SCIENCE RESEARCH IN OUR FIELD AND REPRESENTING THE NEEDS OF THE BROAD NEUROMODULATION COMMUNITY. THE INTERNATIONAL NEUROMODULATION SOCIETY HOSTS THE NEUROMODULATION PODCAST TO EXPLORE THE FOREFRONT OF EMERGING NEUROMODULATION TECHNIQUES, INSIGHTS, AND ETHICAL AND CLINICAL APPLICATIONS. FROM CLINICIANS AND PATIENTS TO RESEARCHERS AND ENGINEERS, THE NEUROMODULATION PODCAST EXPANDS THE REACH AND IMPACT OF OUR SOCIETY BY SHARING THE VOICE OF NEUROMODULATION GLOBALLY. OTHER NEW PROGRAM: INNOVATIVE RESEARCH GRANT PROGRAM THE INS INITIATED ITS INNOVATIVE RESEARCH GRANT PROGRAM IN FYE 2022. THE AIMS OF THIS PROGRAM ARE TO: PROVIDE AN EARLY RESEARCH EXPERIENCE TO JUNIOR NEUROMODULATORS, WHETHER THEY BE HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS, CLINICAL RESEARCHERS, SCIENTISTS OR ENGINEERS; PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE INITIAL FINDINGS WHICH LEAD TO EXTERNAL FUNDING AND DEVELOPMENT OF A LONG- TERM RESEARCH PROGRAM; THROUGH INTERACTION WITH A RESEARCH MENTOR, TEACH INS MEMBERS THE CRITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO EVALUATE NEUROMODULATION SCIENCE AND TO BEGIN A CAREER THAT INVOLVES HIGH QUALITY NEUROMODULATION RESEARCH; AND PROVIDE SCIENTISTS, CLINICIANS AND PATIENTS WITH IMPORTANT NEW FINDINGS THAT LEAD TO IMPROVEMENTS IN SAFETY AND EFFICACY IN OUR FIELD.

THE INTERNATIONAL NEUROMODULATION SOCIETY ORGANIZES ITS WEBINARS, JOURNAL CLUBS, AND BIENNIAL WORLD CONGRESSES WITH THE AIM OF BRINGING TOGETHER AN INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY OF PROFESSIONALS FROM MULTIPLE DISCIPLINES, WHO WOULD NOT OTHERWISE MEET, TO LEARN ABOUT THE BROAD SPECTRUM OF NEUROMODULATION SCIENCE AND THERAPIES. THE INS'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE AND DISSEMINATE THE SCIENCE, EDUCATION, PRACTICE AND ACCESSIBILITY OF ALL ASPECTS OF NEUROMODULATION. THIS MULTIDISCIPLINARY SOCIETY BELIEVES THAT ALL SCIENTISTS, CLINICIANS, BIOENGINEERS, PROFESSIONS ALLIED TO MEDICINE, AND INDUSTRY PARTNERS WHO HAVE A SPECIALIST INTEREST IN NEUROMODULATION, CAN AND SHOULD WORK WITH THIS SOCIETY TO SHARE SCIENCE AND ENCOURAGE BEST PRACTICE FOR THE GOOD OF HUMANITY.
