CURE DUCHENNE WAS ORGANIZED IN 2003 WITH THE MISSION TO FUND RESEARCH NECESSARY TO FIND A CURE FOR DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY PATIENTS, AND IMPROVING THE CARE AND HEALTH OF DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY PATIENTS. SINCE CURE DUCHENNE WAS ORGANIZED, THE ORGANZIATIO HAS BEEN VERY INSTRUMENTAL IN HAVING SEVERAL DRUGS APPROVED BY THE FDA FOR PATIENTS WITH DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY.
