THE PENNSYLVANIA ANTHRACITE (PAC) PUBLISHES A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER DESIGNED TO KEEP ITS MEMBERS INFORMED ON MINING RELATED ISSUES, UPCOMING PROPOSED REGULATIONS AND LEGISLATION THAT MAY IMPACT THE MINING INDUSTRY IN GENERAL AND ANTHRACITE IN SPECIFIC. KEEP MEMBERS INFORMED ON THE LATEST IN RESEARCH AND SCIENTIFIC ADVANCEMENT TO ALTERNATE USES OF ABANDONED MINES AND WASTE COAL AND A STANDARD ANTHRACITE PRODUCT. THE PAC WORKS WITH THE VARIOUS REGULATORY AGENCIES TO INSURE THAT THE ANTHRACITE MINING INDUSTRY'S VOICE IS HEARD IN ANY NEW OR DEVELOPING REGULATIONS AFFECTING ITS MEMBERS. THE ORGANIZATIONS HOST MEETINGS THAT PROVIDE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS AND SOCIAL EVENTS LIKE ITS ANNUAL GOLF OUTING TO CREATE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES AMONG ITS MEMBERS.
