YOUTH ATHLETIC PROGRAMS-DOYLESTOWN ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (DAA) HAS BEEN ORGANIZING YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS IN THE CENTRAL BUCKS COMMUNITY SINCE 1968 WITH THE HELP OF ITS SPONSORS AND VOLUNTEER COACHES, UMPIRES AND OFFICIALS. THE TOTAL ENROLLMENT IN ALL OF DAA'S SPORTS PROGRAMS IS MORE THAN 3,000 BOYS AND GIRLS; AND THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN GROWING BY NEARLY 10% PER YEAR. ONLY 54% OF DAA'S MEMBERSHIP COMES FROM DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH OR TOWNSHIP. THE REST OF THE PLAYERS AND VOLUNTEERS COME FROM COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT BUCKS AND MONTGOMERY COUNTY. THE PROGRAMS OFFERED ARE:BOYS BASKETBALL (WINTER)GIRLS BASKETBALL (WINTER)BASEBALL AND T-BALL (SPRING AND FALL)SOFTBALL (SPRING/SUMMER)FIELD HOCKEY (FALL)CO-ED VOLLEYBALL (FALL, WINTER SKILLS & DRILLS AND SPRING).
