THE NEW YORK ATHLETIC CLUB (THE "CLUB") IS A MEMBER OWNED PRIVATENOT-FOR-PROFIT CLUB ORGANIZED IN 1868. THE PURPOSE OF THE CLUB ISTO PROMOTE AMATEUR SPORTS, EXERCISE AND ATHLETICS OF EVERY KINDAND TO ENCOURAGE PHYSICAL FITNESS. THE CLUB IS FUNDED PRIMARILYTHROUGH DUES, FEES AND CHARGES TO THE MEMBERSHIP FOR USE OF THEFACILITIES.
