STATEWIDE VICTIM INFORMATION AND NOTIFICATION SYSTEM (SAVIN)- PDAI IS THE PROJECT MANAGER UNDER A FEDERAL GRANT IMPLEMENTING AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION OF PRISONER RELEASE FROM PENNSYLVANIA COUNTY JAILS. THE SYSTEM IS ANONYMOUS AND AVAILABLE TO ANY INTERESTED PARTY WISHING TO REGISTER.
PROSECUTOR AND LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING PROGRAM - PROVIDES PERTINENT AND CURRENT TRAINING TO PENNSYLVANIA PROSECUTORS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS. PROSECUTORS TRAINING AND LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING WILL FOCUS ON CRIMINAL LAW PRACTICE, PROCEDURES AND INVESTIGATION AS IT APPLIES TO THE PROSECUTION OF CRIMINAL CASES.
VICTIM SERVICES TRAINING AND NETWORKING PROGRAM - PROVIDES TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ON THE STATE, REGIONAL, AND COUNTY LEVEL - ADDRESSING VICTIM AND WITNESS ISSUES AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE ISSUES OF INTEREST TO HUNDREDS OF VICTIM ADVOCATES.
OTHER TRAINING GRANTS - PDAI PROVIDES TRAINING PROGRAMS ON VARIOUS CRIMINAL JUSTICE ISSUES THROUGHOUT PENNSYLVANIA; DISTRIBUTES AND INSTALLS CASE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE SYSTEMS; EDUCATES PROSECUTORS ON THE TOPIC OF APPELLATE PRACTICE AND ASSISTS WITH LEGAL RESEARCH.
