THE CHILDCARE PORTION OF MOM'S HOUSE IS A NONRESIDENTIAL PROGRAM, RECOGNIZED BY PENNSYLVANIA AS STARS LEVEL 4, PROVIDING CARE TO CHILDREN AGES 6 WEEKS TO 6 YEARS. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2021, THE PROGRAM TYPICALLY HAD 17 OR MORE CHILDREN BEING SERVED. CHILDREN IN THE PROGRAM RECEIVE BREAKFAST, LUNCH, TWO SNACKS, ALL WITH THE CHILD'S NUTRITION IN MIND. THE CHILDCARE PROGRAM ALSO UTILIZES DIAPERS, WIPES, FORMULA, AND OTHER CHILD-REARING SUPPLIES. ALL CHILDCARE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE. IN THE PROGRAM, CHILDREN LEARN HOW TO SOCIALIZE WITH OTHERS, SOLVE PROBLEMS, UNDERSTAND AND THEN EXPRESS SPEECH AND LANGUAGE, DEVELOP CONCEPTS OF MATH AND SPECIAL RELATIONSHIPS, AND DEVELOP THEIR GROSS AND FINE MOTOR SKILLS, WITH ALL INSTRUCTION FOCUSED ON ACHIEVING MAJOR MILESTONES. CHILDREN THAT SPEND THEIR INFANCY THROUGH PRESCHOOL YEARS AT MOM'S HOUSE ENTER PRIMARY SCHOOL AT A KINDERGARTEN-READY LEARNING LEVEL. IN FY21, MOM'S HOUSE OPENED A SCHOOL-AGE PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN UP TO AGE 14 WHO WERE DOING REMOTE LEARNING WHILE LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS WERE SHUT-DOWN FOR IN-PERSON LEARNING.
