THE EPHRATA FARMERS DAY ASSOCIATION'S SOLE PURPOSE IS TO CONDUCT THE EPHRATA FAIR. AS THE COMMUNITY EVOLVES, THE FAIR'S OBJECTIVE IS TO SHOWCASE THE AGRICULTURAL ROOTS OF LANCASTER COUNTY. IT IS A VENUE WHERE FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA (FFA) AND 4-H CLUBS SHOW THEIR ANIMALS AND RESIDENTS ENTER THEIR DOMESTIC PROJECTS SUCH AS CRAFTS, VEGETABLES, FLOWERS, ETC. IN ADDITION TO THE AGRICULTURAL ELEMENTS OF THE FAIR, THERE IS LIVE ENTERTAINMENT, PARADES, FOOD, RIDES AND GAMES FOR THE COMMUNITY'S ENJOYMENT. THE FARMERS DAY ASSOCIATION STRIVES TO TEACH THE COMMUNITY ABOUT AGRICULTURE WHILE GIVING THEM AN OPPORTUNITY TO INTERACT WITH THE INSTRUMENTS AND PROCESSES OF FARMING.

LOCAL RESIDENTS ENTER ANIMALS, VEGETABLES, FLOWERS AND CRAFTS FOR JUDGING.
