THE MISSION OF THE UNIONVILLE COMMUNITY FAIR, INC IS TO PROVIDE THE COMMUNITY WITH WHOLESOME FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT, MEANINGFUL AGRICULTURAL & AGRIBUSINESS PROGRAMS AND THE HANDS ON EXPERIENCE OF THE FARM.

THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS AN ANNUAL COMMUNITY FAIR TO PROVIDE ACTIVITIES AND DISPLAYS THAT INFORM AND INVOLVE CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN A STIMULATING AND HANDS ON ENVIRONMENT TO EDUCATE, CHALLENGE, REWARD, AND ENTERTAIN IN THE FIELDS OF AGRICULTURE, LIVESTOCK, HANDICRAFTS AND ART. APPROXIMATELY 10,000 PEOPLE ARE SERVED DURING THE FIVE DAY PERIOD. THE COMMUNITY EVENT IS OPERATED BY OVER 250 VOLUNTEERS, INCLUDING 65 EXHIBIT DIRECTORS AND 100 JUDGES THAT STAFF THE 200 PLUS EXHIBITS. VOLUNTEERS INCLUDE HIGH SCHOOL, MIDDLE SCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS, BOY SCOUTS, FIRE COMPANIES, FARMING CLUBS, LIVESTOCK, DAIRY & EQUESTRIAN ORGANIZATIONS,AGRICULTURAL 4-H & FFA PROGRAMS, LOCAL YMCA, HISTORIC SOCIETIES, ENVIRONMENT AGENCIES AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE STUDENTS. NEW THIS YEAR HAY RIDES, 5K WALK RUN, AND A BEER & WINE GARDEN.
