THE NSCDA/PA IS AN ORGANIZATION OF WOMEN THAT ACTIVELY PROMOTES AN APPRECIATION OF AMERICA'S HERITAGE THROUGH PRESERVATION, PATRIOTIC SERVICE, AND EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS. SINCE 1899, THE NSCDA/PA HAS ADMINISTERED STENTON, THE C.1730 HOME OF WILLIAM PENN'S SECRETARY, JAMES LOGAN. TODAY, STENTON IS WHERE MANY OF THE SOCIETY'S EXCITING PUBLIC AND SCHOOL-AGE PROGRAMS TAKE PLACE, INCLUDING THE NATIONAL AWARD-WINNING HISTORY HUNTERS PROGRAM, WHICH SERVES OVER 3,000 PHILADELPHIA SCHOOLCHILDREN EACH YEAR. A MEMBER OF HISTORIC GERMANTOWN, STENTON WORKS CLOSELY WITH THIS PARTNERSHIP OF 16 EXTRAORDINARY HISTORIC HOUSES AND DESTINATIONS TO PROTECT, PRESERVE, AND SHARE SOME OF PHILADELPHIA'S MOST IMPORTANT HISTORICAL ASSETS.
