THE GETTYSBURG ADAMS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SUPPORTS AND STRENGTHENS OUR MEMBERS AND THE ADAMS COUNTY AREA BY PROMOTING DIVERSE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH ADVOCACY, BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS, PROVIDING TIMELY INFORMATION AND DEVELOPING LEADERS FOR THE FUTURE.

THE GETTYSBURG WINE & MUSIC FESTIVAL WAS CONCEIVED TO HELP SUPPORT THE THEN UP AND COMING WINE INDUSTRY IN PENNSYLVANIA, WHILE OFFERING AN ADDITIONAL VISITOR EXPERIENCE DURING A WEEKEND THAT TRADITIONALLY WAS SLOW FOR THE LOCAL HOTELIERS. THE EVENT PAIRS WINE SAMPLING WITH REGIONAL MUSIC TALENT OF ALL GENRES AND AN EXTENSIVE VARIETY OF FOODS AND VENDORS SELLING THEIR WARES. THE EVENT HAS GROWN TO WHERE NUMEROUS LOCAL HOTELS CREATE SPECIAL PACKAGES FOR GUESTS ATTENDING THE FESTIVAL. WE WORK EVERY VERY CLOSELY WITH THE LOCAL TRANSIT AUTHORITY, FREEDOM TRANSIT, AS WELL. THE GETTYSBURG WINE & MUSIC FESTIVAL BRINGS OVER 6,500 ATTENDEES, PLUS VENDORS TO THE COMMUNITY, MANY OF WHICH SUPPORT THE LOCAL BUSINESSES DURING THEIR STAY.
THE MISSION OF THE GETTYSBURG ADAMS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS TO PROMOTE DIVERSE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY THROUGH ADVOCACY, NETWORKING AND INFORMATION. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGHOUT THE COURSE OF A YEAR BY HOLDING MONTHLY NETWORKING EVENTS, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND INFORMATIONAL BREAKFASTS. AS A RESULT OF COVID-19, THE MAJORITY OF THE NETWORKING EVENTS AND PROGRAMS WERE CANCELED FOR THE CURRENT YEAR.
