JEWEL THEATRE COMPANY IS DEDICATED TO CREATING EXTRAORDINARY PRODUCTIONS THAT EXPLORE AND ADVANCE THE ART OF THEATRE BY ENTERTAINING, ENLIGHTENING AND ENGAGING THE COMMUNITY.

JEWEL THEATRE COMPANY PRODUCES A SEASON OF 5 TO 6 PROFESSIONAL THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS EACH YEAR, RANGING FROM CLASSICAL WORKS TO WORLD PREMIERES, AND INCLUDING DRAMAS, COMEDIES, AND MUSICALS, THAT BOTH ENTERTAIN AND INCREASE OUR AUDIENCES AWARENESS, KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF BOTH HISTORICAL AND TOPICAL ISSUES. APPROXIMATELY 14,000 PERSONS ATTENDED THE PRODUCTIONS DURING THE YEAR. DUE TO THE COVID-19 SHUTDOWN, FOR THE 2020/2021 FISCAL YEAR, WE WERE ONLY ABLE TO PRODUCE STREAMING-ONLY PRODUCTIONS, WHICH INCLUDED TWO FULL LENGTH PLAYS, SEVERAL RADIO PLAY READINGS, AND THREE ARCHIVE VIDEOS OF PAST IN-PERSON SHOWS. SOME OF THESE EVENTS WERE TICKETED, BUT MOST WERE FREE OF CHARGE. EACH STREAMING SHOW WAS STREAMED BY APPROXIMATELY 300-500 PEOPLE.
